Accessibility & Equal Access Policy
Chez provides people with disabilities an equal opportunity to use the platform, receive customer support, book services, and participate in the Chez experience. This policy applies to households, guests, and members of the public — it is not an employment policy.
Scope
This policy covers the Chez website and authenticated experiences, customer support channels, booking flows, household tools, communications, downloadable documents, and reasonable modifications to Chez policies, practices, and procedures.
Commitments
- Reasonable modifications to Chez policies and procedures where needed for equal access.
- Effective communication support suited to the person, context, and complexity of the interaction.
- Alternative booking assistance completed by trained Chez staff, without a diagnosis requirement.
- Free-of-charge accessibility assistance. Chez does not charge a disability-specific surcharge.
- Individualized safety assessments — Chez does not deny access based on stereotypes, general fear, or the existence of a disability.
Limits
A modification may be declined only if it would fundamentally alter the Chez service, create a legitimate safety risk grounded in actual facts, be prohibited by law, require a service outside the culinary engagement, or fall within another legally recognized limitation. Denial reasons are documented and appealable.
How to Reach Us
Request assistance, a reasonable modification, or an alternative access method through the Chez accessibility support page. Chez responds through the person's preferred communication channel where reasonably available.
