Community Standards

These standards apply to everyone who uses Chez, LLC — households and chefs alike. They exist to protect the experience for all of us.

How We Treat Each Other

  • Respect
  • Non-discrimination on any protected basis
  • No harassment
  • No threats
  • No violence
  • No weapons during service
  • No illegal drugs
  • No sexual conduct
  • No exploitation
  • No unauthorized recording

How We Use the Platform

  • No fraud
  • No payment circumvention
  • No retaliation for good-faith reports
  • Honest reviews
  • Respect for privacy
  • Respect for property
  • Cooperation with safety reviews

Enforcement

When these standards are broken, Chez, LLC may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Warning
  • Temporary restriction
  • Booking cancellation
  • Account suspension
  • Permanent removal
  • Referral to authorities, where appropriate

Fair Access & Nondiscrimination

Chez, LLC is committed to a fair, respectful, and safe platform for households, chefs, applicants, guests, and personnel. Unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation are prohibited in connection with Chez, LLC services and platform activity.

Sensitive requests involving language, gender, religion, disability, or culture are routed for individualized human review rather than automatically flagged. Chez, LLC may decline preferences that appear to exclude a chef or household because of a protected characteristic rather than a legitimate service-related need.

Reporting

Reports of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or accessibility concerns may be submitted through the Chez, LLC support channels. Reports submitted in good faith are reviewed by a human on the Chez, LLC trust and safety team.

Chez, LLC limits disclosure of reports to those with a legitimate need to know, subject to legal, safety, and investigative requirements.

Enforcement Review

Enforcement decisions may be reviewed under the dispute-resolution procedures described in the applicable Chez, LLC agreement.
